the floor is lava
June 3
It's the return of the gameshow that challenges contestants to cross obstacles without falling onto a floor that's supposedly covered in lava. This season we're promising a gigantic, slippery volcano for the contestants to tackle, as well as "hotter lava." The latter isn't literally true (the show seems to use some kind of colored water), but there will undoubtedly be so many fun and funny throwbacks.

man against the bee
June 24
"See, there was a bee..." family man Trevor (Rowan Atkinson) tells the judge who is about to send him away for dangerous driving, arson and destroying expensive art. This nine-part comedy takes us back to the beginning of his story: while taking care of the fairy, he encounters a troublesome bee that won't leave him alone. What follows is a game of cat and mouse, only with a man and a bee and - we suspect - the strong taste of Mr Bean.

The first season of this famous sitcom about a veteran comedian who is paired with a young blacklisted writer arrived in the UK so late that we will have the next series in a few weeks. This time, Ava and Deborah take their sharp barbs and surprisingly adorable partnership on a road trip to improve the new ensemble they're working on. We hope that Ava's indiscretion with the British writers will not come back to haunt her.
